Your Chiropractor
- Your Chiropractor has a 5 years university degree in Chiropractic – 3 years Bachelor (B.Sc.) in Medicine and 2 years Master of Chiropractic (M.Sc.) in Health Science – clinical biomechanics, as well as 1 year of internship before the government approved authorization as a Chiropractor.
- Your Chiropractor is a specialist in examination, analysis, diagnosis and treatment of problems from the spine and muscular-skeletal system.
- Your Chiropractor is educated in the making and examination of x-rays.
- Your Chiropractor works only with his hands without any medication, syringes or surgery.
A chiropractor in Germany is not recognized as doctor and must work under the Heilpraktiker law – not to be confused with a chiropraktiker or chirotherapeut.
What is the different between a Chiropraktor and a Chiropraktiker and a Chirotherapeut
A Chiropraktiker is a Heilpraktiker (a short education in general health) who has taken a supplement course in Chiropractic.
A Chirotherapeut is an additional title for Medical Doctors who has taken a supplement course in Chiropractic.
Some Masseurs and Physiotherapists also offers chiropractic care.
